Top 5 Travel and Local Apps on Android in Croatia, Q4 2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the travel and local app market on the Android platform in Croatia showcased varied performance among the top five applications. Data from Sensor Tower highlights some interesting trends in downloads and active user engagement.

HŽPP, published by HŽ Putnički prijevoz d.o.o., saw a notable spike in weekly downloads, particularly in December. Starting from 648 downloads in early October, the app experienced a surge to over 10K downloads by mid-December. This app, however, did not record any revenue during this period.

nextbike, developed by nextbike, started the quarter with a strong download count of over 1K, peaking at 3.7K by late October. However, downloads tapered off towards the end of the quarter. Despite this, the app maintained a healthy number of weekly active users, climbing from 6.2K to a peak of 10.7K in early December, before settling down to 6.5K by the end of the year.

The app moj ZET by Zagrebački električni tramvaj saw consistent weekly download numbers, ranging from 800 to 2K. The active user base increased significantly, reaching a high of over 80K active users in early November, which then adjusted to around 47K by the end of December.

FlixBus: Book Bus Tickets demonstrated a steady increase in downloads, starting from 1.1K and reaching nearly 1.8K by early December. The app's active user numbers also showed an upward trend, peaking at 22.3K mid-December.

Finally, Ryanair maintained a consistent download pattern, fluctuating between 950 and 1.7K weekly downloads. Active users for Ryanair started at 31.1K and experienced fluctuations throughout the quarter, ending with 26.7K in the final week.
