Top 5 Travel and Local Apps on Android in UAE Q4 2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the travel and local app landscape in the United Arab Emirates saw notable trends across the top five apps on the Android platform, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Nusuk | نسك from the Ministry of Hajj and Umra exhibited fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at 10.6K and peaking at 24.4K in early October. The app's active users initially grew from 30.6K to a peak of 46.5K by late October, followed by a dip and a resurgence to 42.1K by the end of December.

YAY Portal - Ride, Food& more, based in the UAE, showed a significant spike in downloads, reaching 16.3K in late November. This surge was followed by a sharp decline, ending the quarter at around 1.1K downloads.

India's MakeMyTrip - Flights & Hotels maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, with numbers hovering around 5K to 7K weekly. The active users initially increased, peaking at 132.5K in mid-November, before gradually declining to 113.7K by the end of December.

The nol Pay app from the UAE's Roads and Transport Authority experienced stable download numbers, staying between 4.4K and 5.6K weekly. Active users fluctuated, starting at 102.9K, experiencing a dip in November, and then recovering to 103.4K by the quarter's end.

Finally, Trip.com: Book Flights, Hotels from China saw its downloads range from 3.8K to 4.9K, with active users consistently around 32K to 39K, despite a slight dip in late December.
