In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top tools apps on the Android platform in Ireland showcased varied performance in terms of downloads and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into these trends.

MyGovID experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at about 5K and peaking at 7.4K in early November. However, by the end of December, downloads decreased significantly to around 3.3K.

QR & Barcode Scanner showed a steady download trend, maintaining around 3K to 4K downloads weekly. Notably, a spike occurred in late December with downloads reaching nearly 5K. Active users saw a slight decline over the quarter, starting at approximately 107K and ending at 104K.

Samsung Smart Switch Mobile maintained a consistent download rate throughout most of the quarter, with a notable surge in the week before Christmas reaching 9.2K. Active users increased notably from 18K at the start of the quarter to over 33K by the end.

drawnames | Secret Santa app saw an initial increase in downloads, reaching over 6K in early November, before declining sharply in December. Active users followed a similar trend, peaking at 14.4K in November before dropping to around 5K by the end of the year.
