In the fourth quarter of 2025, the performance of the top tools apps on the Android platform in Europe showcased interesting trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps experienced various shifts in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

QR & Barcode Scanner by Gamma Play maintained a steady download rate, starting at approximately 594K weekly downloads and peaking at around 630K in late December. Despite this, weekly active users saw a slight decline from 26.3M to 24.2M.

Now VPN - Fast Secure Proxy from Star Core Studio saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, reaching over 606K in early December. Revenue peaked at $310 in the same period, while active users fluctuated, ending with a decrease from 1.9M to 1.4M.

Samsung Smart Switch Mobile experienced a notable surge in downloads, particularly in late December, with numbers rising to 800K. Active users also increased, culminating at 4.3M by the end of the quarter.

Move to iOS showed consistent growth in downloads, reaching a high of 790K in the week of December 22. Active users rose considerably during the quarter, peaking at 1.6M.
