Top Tools Apps on Android in Austria, Q4 2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top tools apps on the Android platform in Austria demonstrated varied performance trends, based on data from Sensor Tower.

ID Austria saw a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 21.7K in early November and then decreasing to around 12.3K by the end of December. The app's weekly active users experienced a peak of about 613K in early November but faced a decline, closing the year at approximately 446K.

Google Authenticator maintained a steady download rate, with numbers reaching a high of 12.9K in late October before a gradual decline to 6.5K by the end of December. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 143K and dropping to around 106K by quarter's end.

Samsung Smart Switch Mobile exhibited a consistent download trend, peaking at 10.7K in late December. Active users increased significantly towards the end of the quarter, rising from 49K in early October to about 64K by the end of the year.

For the QR & Barcode Scanner, weekly downloads were highest in early December at 6.8K, while active users saw an increase to 321K in early December before declining to 182K by the end of December.

Finally, Move to iOS ended the quarter with a strong increase in downloads, reaching 12.2K in late December. The active user base also grew notably in December, peaking at approximately 12.1K.
