In the fourth quarter of 2025, the Android platform in Austria saw significant activity among the top tools applications. Here's a closer look at the performance of these leading apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

NordVPN – fast VPN for privacy experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $7K by the end of December. Weekly downloads also showed a positive trend, reaching around 2K by late December. Active users grew from about 29.7K to nearly 33.9K over the quarter.

AVG AntiVirus & Security had variable weekly revenue, with a high of $3.5K in mid-October and closing the quarter at $2.7K. Downloads saw an upward spike, peaking at 1.3K towards the end of December. Active users fluctuated, ending the quarter at approximately 24.3K.

Norton360 Antivirus & Security showed a consistent revenue stream, with the highest at $3.4K in late October. Downloads remained stable, with a peak of 1.9K in mid-October, while active users ended the quarter at about 15.6K.

Avast Antivirus & Security maintained a steady revenue, closing the quarter with $2.5K. Downloads varied, peaking at 908 in late December, and active users increased from 14.8K to over 20.9K.
