The fourth quarter of 2025 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top social apps on the Android platform in Norway. According to Sensor Tower data, TikTok - Videos, Shop & LIVE led the charge with significant revenue growth. By the end of December, its weekly revenue peaked at around $66.5K, marking a consistent rise throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads, however, experienced a decline from 3.6K in early November to 2.5K by the end of December. Active users showed resilience, climbing from 188.9K to 213.7K.

Instagram witnessed a steady increase in revenue, peaking at about $5.2K in mid-December. While weekly downloads began at 2.2K, they tapered to 1.9K by the quarter's end. Despite this, active users remained robust, reaching a high of 241.2K during the holiday season.

The lightweight version, Instagram Lite, saw a modest climb in downloads, with numbers peaking at 2.1K in early December. Active users showed a significant upward trajectory, ending the quarter at 10.9K, highlighting its growing popularity.

Threads also saw an increase in active users, rising from 71.8K to 110.9K by the end of the quarter. However, downloads fluctuated, starting at 1.3K and closing the year at 1.2K.

Facebook maintained a steady presence, with revenue reaching approximately $6.5K in the week of December 22. Although downloads remained relatively stable, active user numbers peaked at 331.6K mid-December, showcasing its continued relevance.
