In the fourth quarter of 2025, the News & Magazines category on Android in Romania showcased some notable trends across the top applications. Here's a closer look at the performance of the leading apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

X from X Corp. showed a consistent increase in weekly revenue, peaking at about $3.7K in early December. Weekly downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of approximately 4.6K in mid-October. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 340K throughout the quarter.

The app Digi Sport-Știri&meciuri LIVE experienced a significant drop in downloads towards the end of the quarter, starting strong with over 4.3K downloads in late October, but dropping to just over 100 by the end of December. Active users saw a slight decline, maintaining a range between 50K and 58K.
