In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top five news and magazine apps on the Android platform in Israel demonstrated diverse performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the digital news consumption landscape.

Haaretz experienced a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 185 and dipping to 135 by the end of December. Revenue showed a downward trend, beginning at around $8.8K and ending the quarter at $5.5K. Despite this, weekly active users saw a slight increase from 17.6K to 15.9K.

X saw a peak in downloads mid-October at 4.9K, gradually stabilizing around 3.1K by the year's end. Revenue peaked at $8.6K in early December, showing variable trends throughout the quarter. Active users maintained a robust presence, fluctuating slightly but remaining around 280K.

TheMarker had relatively stable downloads, hovering around 90 weekly, with a slight upturn at the end of December. Revenue varied, reaching a high of $3.1K in late November before tapering to $1.5K. Active users steadily increased from 5.8K to 6.8K over the quarter.

ynet showed a fluctuating download pattern, with a notable increase to 1.4K in late November. Revenue had a modest peak at $2K in early December. Active users saw a decline from 228K to 200K by the end of the quarter.

Finally, Globes maintained stable download numbers, with a slight increase to 107 in the final week. Revenue showed some growth, peaking at $1.6K in late November. Active users increased consistently from 3.8K to 4.3K.
