Top News and Magazines Apps in Greece: Q4 2025 Android Insights

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top five News and Magazines applications on the Android platform in Greece displayed diverse performance trends. These insights are brought to you by Sensor Tower.

X from X Corp. saw an impressive spike in weekly revenue, peaking at about $3K in early December. Downloads experienced a notable rise towards the end of the quarter, reaching nearly 3.5K. However, weekly active users saw a decline from approximately 383K to 323K.

Medium showed modest weekly revenue figures, fluctuating around $100 to $200 throughout the quarter. Downloads remained stable at around 70 to 90 per week, while active users decreased significantly from about 579 to 69.

NYTimes: US and Global News experienced a consistent weekly revenue pattern, with minor fluctuations between $20 and $140. Downloads varied slightly, peaking at 87 in late November. Active users showed a gradual increase from 208 to 239.

The Economist - World News had an inconsistent revenue trend, with peaks reaching $164. Weekly downloads were minimal, hovering around 15 to 27, while active users remained relatively stable, ending the quarter at 108.

The Guardian - US & World News experienced a varied revenue pattern, peaking at $125 in early October. Downloads remained low, ranging from 30 to 49. Active users decreased significantly from over 1K to 234 by the end of the quarter.
