Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in South America, Q4 2025

The fourth quarter of 2025 saw varying performances among the top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in South America. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps showed diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active user metrics.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, starting from around 269K and peaking at approximately 359K by the end of December. Its active user base also demonstrated growth, starting at 26.9M and reaching a high of 29.7M mid-December before settling at 28.3M.

Google Earth maintained stable download numbers, averaging between 55K and 104K weekly. The app's active users slightly fluctuated, beginning at 1.24M and closing the quarter at 1.29M.

Live Earth Map & GPS Tracker saw a significant surge in both downloads and active users. Downloads skyrocketed from 1.3K to 236K during the quarter, while active users grew from 9.4K to 225K. Revenue also improved, reaching approximately $636 by the end of December.

Live Earth Map - World Map 3D showed a steady increase in revenue, starting at $1.3K and climbing to about $3.2K. Weekly downloads remained consistent, ranging from 19K to 34K, while active users hovered around 9K to 12K.

Radarbot Speed Camera Detector exhibited strong performance metrics. Revenue started at $25.7K and peaked at $36.1K. Downloads increased from 18K to 58K, and active users rose from 360K to 650K by the end of the quarter.
