Top Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Portugal Q4 2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the performance of the top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Portugal showcased intriguing trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, these applications experienced varying dynamics in terms of downloads, revenue, and active user engagement.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic demonstrated a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 10K in mid-December. The app's weekly active users also showed a general upward trend, reaching over 1M by early December.

Via Verde maintained a steady download rate, with numbers ranging from 3.5K to 5.3K throughout the quarter. Active users fluctuated slightly but remained around 100K, with a notable peak of 113K in mid-December.

Google Earth experienced stable download figures, generally hovering around 3K to 4K per week. Active users saw a slight decline towards the end of the quarter, settling at approximately 40K.

Satellite View - Maps - Radar recorded a decrease in downloads early in the quarter but managed to stabilize around 1.3K to 1.7K by December. Revenue trends showed a decline, starting the quarter at $201 and ending at $76.

Finally, Live Earth Map & GPS Tracker saw a significant increase in downloads from November onwards, reaching a peak of 4.7K in the last week of December. Active users rose dramatically, climbing to nearly 4.8K by the end of the quarter.
