Top Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Oman: Q4 2025

The performance of navigation and maps apps on the Android platform in Oman during the fourth quarter of 2025 showcased varied trends across the top five applications.

Google Earth maintained consistent weekly downloads, starting at around 4.3K and gradually decreasing to just over 1.1K by the end of December. Despite the decline in downloads, weekly active users saw an upward trend, peaking at approximately 14.5K in late November before settling at 10.8K at the quarter's close.

Qibla Compass exhibited steady weekly downloads, with a notable increase in late December reaching around 1.2K. Active users similarly rose, starting at 5.2K and climbing to 7.4K by the end of the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a significant spike in downloads, particularly in early December with a peak of 1.8K. Weekly active users fluctuated, reaching a high of 18.9K in early December before declining to 13.9K by the end of the quarter.

Live Earth Map - World Map 3D saw a gradual decrease in downloads throughout the quarter, from 688 in early October to 394 by the end of December. Revenue, however, showed a slight increase, peaking at $69 in late December.

Muslim Prayer - Qibla Compass had a decline in downloads, with numbers falling from 598 at the start of the quarter to 238 in late December. Active users followed a similar downward trend, dropping from 2.9K to 2.1K.
