Top Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Netherlands Q4 2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in the Netherlands showcased distinct trends in downloads and user engagement, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Polarsteps saw a decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 17K and dropping to 8.2K by the end of December. Despite this, weekly active users fluctuated, peaking at about 595K in mid-October before settling at 566K by the quarter's end.

ANWB Onderweg & Wegenwacht maintained a stable download rate, averaging around 8K to 10K weekly. Active users rose sharply in mid-November, reaching 443K, and ended the quarter at approximately 384K.

For Waze Navigation & Live Traffic, downloads decreased from 8.4K to 3.7K over the quarter. Active users showed some variability, with a high of 386K in mid-October and closing at 353K at year-end.

Flitsmeister experienced consistent weekly revenue, peaking at $47.9K in late December. Downloads, however, declined from 5.7K to 2.8K. Active users fluctuated, reaching a high of 458K in November and ending at 367K.

Lastly, Google Earth saw a gradual decline in downloads from 4.5K to 2.2K. Active users remained relatively stable, peaking at 65K in mid-November and ending the quarter at 55K.
