Top Navigation & Maps Apps on Android in the Middle East, Q4 2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the Middle East saw significant activity in the navigation and maps app category on the Android platform. Here's a closer look at the performance of the top five apps based on data from Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads ranging from approximately 28K at the start of the quarter to a peak of about 35K in early November. Its weekly active users saw fluctuations, starting at 2.5M and peaking at around 2.8M in mid-December.

Google Earth experienced varied weekly downloads, beginning at 23K and seeing a dip to around 10K towards the end of the quarter. Active users fluctuated slightly, with a high of 253K in late November and a low of 184K in mid-December.

Offline Maps, GPS, Speedometer had steady weekly downloads, peaking at over 8K in late October. Active users showed a general upward trend, reaching a peak of 22K in mid-December.

Live Earth Map - World Map 3D demonstrated growth in both downloads and revenue. Downloads rose to over 12K in late November, while revenue increased steadily, reaching approximately $1.5K by mid-December. Active users peaked at 5.5K in late November.

Muslim Prayer - Qibla Compass showed a significant rise in downloads mid-quarter, peaking at 16K in late October. However, active users decreased from 128K at the quarter's start to 103K by the end.
