Top Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Ghana: Q4 2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the performance of the top navigation and maps applications on Android in Ghana showed varied trends in downloads and active user engagement. This analysis is based on data from Sensor Tower.

GhanaPostGPS experienced fluctuations in its weekly downloads, starting at approximately 4.7K and peaking at 5.2K in early October before declining towards the end of December to about 2.4K. Active user numbers saw a rise, reaching a high of around 42K in early December, before settling at 33K by the end of the quarter.

GPS Satellite Maps: Live Earth showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 2.5K and reaching 4.1K by the end of December. Active user engagement also increased, from 2.5K to about 5.5K over the quarter.

Easy Rout Map: Navigation Path had a notable spike in downloads, particularly in mid-December, reaching over 10K. Active users mirrored this trend, peaking at approximately 20K during the same period.

GPS Camera Map & Timestamp saw a significant increase in downloads from October, peaking at 4.2K in mid-November, before declining to 237 by the end of December. Active users showed a similar pattern, peaking at 4K in mid-November.

GPS Map Driving Directions had a varied download rate, with a peak of 2.3K in early November and a drop to 913 by the end of December. Active users rose from 3.6K in October to a peak of 8.5K mid-quarter, finishing at 7.6K.
