Top Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Algeria Q4 2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Algeria showcased varied performance trends, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Google Earth demonstrated a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at approximately 18.9K in late December. The app maintained a substantial user base, with weekly active users reaching around 517K in early November before experiencing a drop to about 437K by the end of December.

Live Earth Map - World Map 3D experienced fluctuations in downloads, starting the quarter with 8.2K downloads and peaking at 12.7K in mid-October. However, by the end of December, downloads decreased to 4.7K. The app's active user count mirrored this trend, starting at 4.6K and declining to 3.7K by the quarter's end.

Offline Maps, GPS, Speedometer saw a notable increase in downloads, particularly in early November with a peak of 11.3K. Active users also rose to 16.5K in late November before settling to 11.7K by the end of the quarter.

GPS Maps & Driving Directions had a significant spike in downloads in mid-October, reaching 14.1K. Despite a steady decline, the app maintained a consistent number of active users, peaking at 17K in late October and ending the quarter with approximately 11K.

Finally, GPS Map Driving Directions observed an initial surge in downloads to 12.4K by mid-October, with active users peaking at 39.6K around the same time. However, both metrics tapered off towards the end of December.
