In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Central America showcased diverse trends in downloads and active users. Here's a closer look at the performance of these leading apps, with data insights provided by Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained strong figures throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads saw a positive trajectory, peaking at around 121K in late December. Active users also exhibited fluctuations, starting at approximately 5.4M and reaching a high of about 6.1M in late October before ending the quarter at around 5.4M.

Live Earth Map & GPS Tracker showed significant growth in downloads, especially in December, where numbers reached over 126K. The app's revenue increased gradually, closing the quarter at $231. Active users mirrored this upward trend, surging from just over 4K at the start to about 111K by the end of December.

Google Earth experienced moderate download numbers, with a peak of approximately 42K in early November. Active users hovered around 270K to 320K, showing a stable user base throughout the quarter.

Offline Maps, GPS, Speedometer had a steady download rate, beginning with about 13K and gradually decreasing to around 7K by the end of December. Active users remained consistent, fluctuating slightly between 29K and 33K.

Finally, PASE saw a gradual increase in downloads, topping at approximately 17K in late December. Active users showed a slight decline over the quarter, starting at around 243K and ending at about 211K.
