In the fourth quarter of 2025, several music and podcast apps on the Android platform showed varied performance trends in Portugal. According to data from Sensor Tower, here’s a closer look at the top five applications.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts from Spotify AB saw a consistent increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $24.8K in the first week of December. Weekly downloads hit a significant high of 15K during the same period, while active users rose to approximately 935K.

Shazam: Find Music & Concerts maintained a steady download rate, averaging about 2.3K downloads weekly. Active users fluctuated, peaking at over 231K in early November before ending the quarter at around 175K.

Radio Portugal - FM Radio experienced a modest revenue increase, topping at $38 in mid-November. Downloads started strong at 4.3K in early October but gradually declined, while active users remained stable, averaging around 11K.

The second Spotify: Music & Podcasts app had a lower download activity, with weekly downloads peaking at 4.2K in late December. Active users reached a maximum of 6.2K during the same period.

Finally, IPTV Player: Watch Live TV showed fluctuating revenue, with a notable increase to $121 in early October. Downloads were highest at the beginning of the quarter with nearly 3K, while active users remained around 24K towards the end of the year.
