In the fourth quarter of 2025, the performance of medical apps on the Android platform in Italy showed varied trends, as revealed by Sensor Tower data. Here's a closer look at the top five apps:

MioDottore: Prenota una visita demonstrated strong engagement with weekly downloads peaking at around 51K in early November. However, there was a gradual decline towards the end of December, with downloads dipping to approximately 20K. The app maintained a robust user base, with active users slightly fluctuating but reaching a high of around 735K in mid-December.

Doctolib - Your health partner experienced a steady decline in downloads, starting at about 31K in early October and decreasing to approximately 10K by the end of December. Despite this, active users remained relatively stable, peaking at over 721K in early November.

SINFONIA Salute saw its downloads gradually decrease from around 19K at the beginning of the quarter to about 7K by the end. The app did not report active user data for this period.

Shop Apotheke: E-Rezept App had a notable spike in downloads around mid-October, reaching approximately 13K, but this was followed by a decline, ending the quarter with about 4K downloads. Active user numbers were more consistent, with a slight decrease from around 167K to 128K by December's end.

Finally, SALUTILE Prenotazioni maintained a modest but stable download rate, starting at 2.4K and peaking at around 3.3K in December. Active users showed an initial decline but then stabilized, ending the quarter with about 24K.
