Top 5 Maps and Navigation Apps on Android in Portugal Q4 2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top five maps and navigation apps on the Android platform in Portugal showed varied performance trends, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 10K in mid-December. The app's active user base also showed a positive trend, reaching over 1M in the first week of December.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a steady download rate, with a notable spike to approximately 9.6K in early December. However, active users exhibited a declining trend, dropping from over 600K at the start of the quarter to around 467K by the end of December.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced fluctuations in downloads, with a peak of about 6.6K in early December. Active users increased to roughly 550K in the same period, before declining to around 417K by the quarter's end.

Comboios de Portugal downloads saw a gradual decrease over the quarter, while active users fell from about 138K in late September to around 79K by the end of December.

Moovit: Your Transit Tracker showed a decline in both downloads and active users, with downloads dropping from over 4K in early October to about 1.8K at the end of the year. Active users also decreased from approximately 184K to 94K.
