In the fourth quarter of 2025, the Android platform in Oceania saw notable performances from top maps and navigation apps. Here's a breakdown of the key trends for each app based on data from Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride showed a consistent pattern in downloads throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads fluctuated slightly, peaking at around 20.5K in mid-November. Active users demonstrated a steady rise, reaching over 1.1M in early December before slightly declining to approximately 920K by the end of the year.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a significant increase in downloads, culminating at about 23.1K in the week leading up to Christmas. Active users mirrored this trend, climbing from 614K at the start of the quarter to nearly 795K by late December.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides saw moderate download activity, with numbers reaching 15.2K in early December before decreasing towards the end of the quarter. Active users fluctuated, peaking at around 397K in mid-November but ending the year at approximately 317K.

Translink had a varied download performance, with numbers dipping to as low as 4.1K towards the end of December. However, it maintained a steady stream of downloads throughout the quarter, averaging around 6K weekly.

My 7-Eleven observed a peak in downloads mid-December with 7.3K, followed by a decline. Active users started at 375K and saw a decrease towards the end of the quarter, closing at about 305K.
