Top 5 Food & Drink Apps on Android in the UK: Q4 2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the Food & Drink category on Android in the United Kingdom saw notable trends among the top five applications. Data sourced from Sensor Tower provides insight into the weekly downloads and active users of these apps.

McDonald’s UK showed a varied download pattern, starting at approximately 38K and experiencing a dip to around 26K in early November, before peaking at over 41K in early December. Active users fluctuated significantly, beginning at about 1.9M, peaking over 2.2M mid-quarter, and ending the quarter around 1.8M.

Uber Eats: Food and Grocery maintained a relatively stable download rate, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching over 32K downloads. Active users started at approximately 1.7M, with minor fluctuations, concluding the quarter near 1.6M.

The Greggs App - Food & Drink showed a strong start with downloads around 25K, peaking at over 39K in early December, before a decline towards the end of the quarter. Active user numbers showed an upward trend, starting at approximately 795K and reaching over 1M in mid-November, before declining to around 805K by the end of December.

Too Good To Go: End Food Waste experienced a peak in downloads at the end of October with over 33K, followed by a gradual decline, ending the quarter with about 16K downloads. Active users started strong at approximately 1.1M, peaking in mid-December at over 1.2M, and then dropping to below 1M.

Finally, Greene King Pubs & Restaurants saw a gradual decrease in downloads from around 26K to 15K by the end of the quarter. However, active users increased steadily from approximately 117K to over 146K.
