In the fourth quarter of 2025, the performance of carpooling and ridesharing apps on the Android platform in Saudi Arabia showed varied trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, several apps stood out in terms of downloads and active user engagement.

Uber - Request a ride experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 26.4K in early October, dipping to 13K in November, and peaking again at 20.2K in December. Active user numbers remained strong, reaching a high of 753.8K in early November, despite a slight decline to 620.3K by the end of the quarter.

Jeeny - Book Affordable Rides maintained steady download numbers, with a slight decrease from 14.3K at the beginning of October to 9.7K at the end of December. The app’s active users showed resilience, starting at 365.5K and finishing the quarter at 302.1K.

inDrive. Rides with fair fares saw an increase in weekly downloads from 11.7K to a peak of 13.8K in late October, before settling at 8.5K by the end of December. Active users rose from 59.8K to a high of 73.3K in early November, ending the quarter at 68.3K.

Bolt: Request a Ride downloads started at 12K, peaking at 13.2K by the end of October, and then declining to 6.2K by late December. Active user numbers showed a similar trend, starting at 314K and decreasing to 271.6K by the end of the quarter.

Finally, Careem: rides, food, grocery began the quarter with 10.2K downloads, experiencing a dip to 5.1K in early December, and ending at 6.9K. Active users fluctuated, peaking at 258.7K in late October and closing the quarter at 237.3K.
