Top Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps in the Netherlands, Q4 2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the carpooling and ridesharing app market on Android in the Netherlands showed varied performance across different metrics, according to Sensor Tower data.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting with approximately 10.3K downloads and experiencing a dip mid-quarter before closing the year at around 9.6K. The app consistently engaged users, with weekly active users peaking at around 162.9K in late October.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced steady weekly downloads, beginning at 6.1K and ending with 5.2K. Active users increased significantly, reaching a high of 87.5K users in mid-October, before stabilizing towards the end of the quarter.

Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery saw a modest increase in downloads, starting at 2.3K and ending at 1.8K. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase by the end of December to reach about 7K.

Grab - Taxi & Food Delivery maintained consistent download numbers throughout the quarter, with a slight rise towards the end, reaching 1.8K. Active users showed a positive trend, culminating in a peak of approximately 103.2K by the end of the year.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver demonstrated growth in both downloads and active users. Downloads started at 822, increased to 1.7K in late October, and ended the year at 1.5K. Active users grew steadily, peaking at 10.5K in the last week of December.
