Top Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on Android in the Middle East, Q4 2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the carpooling and ridesharing app market in the Middle East saw varied performance across the top five applications on the Android platform. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps exhibited distinct trends in weekly downloads and active users.

Baly | Order Taxi and Food showed fluctuations in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 1.1K in the week of November 3. The app's weekly active users experienced a gradual increase, reaching around 4K by the end of December.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads starting at 46.7K, experiencing a slight decline mid-quarter, and ending at 39.4K. The app's weekly active users remained robust, peaking at approximately 1.4M in early November.

Careem: rides, food, grocery saw its weekly downloads peak at over 30K in late October, with a gradual decline towards year-end. Active users showed a decrease from 1.2M to just above 1M throughout the quarter.

Jeeny - Book Affordable Rides experienced a downward trend in downloads, starting at 14.9K and dropping to 10.5K by the end of December. However, weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 300K.

Bolt: Request a Ride began the quarter with 25.3K downloads, with a notable decrease to 16.9K by late December. Active users also saw a decrease, from nearly 400K at the start to approximately 363K at the end of the quarter.
