Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on Android in Greece, Q4 2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the carpooling and ridesharing app market in Greece on the Android platform showed varied performance across the top five applications. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, highlights the trends in weekly downloads and active users for these popular apps.

Freenow by Lyft - taxi & more experienced a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 7.8K and peaking at over 13K by the end of December. Active users also saw a significant increase from around 250K to nearly 295K mid-December before settling at approximately 245K at the end of the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a steady download rate, starting at 8.2K and reaching a peak of 10.4K in late December. The app's active users initially decreased but rebounded to close the quarter at nearly 119K.

Bolt: Request a Ride showed a gradual increase in downloads, starting from just over 2K and climbing to over 4.7K by late December. Despite a dip in active users to around 6.9K mid-quarter, the app ended with approximately 15.6K users.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver saw a consistent download rate around 300 to 400 weekly, with active users slightly increasing from 1.4K to about 1.5K by the end of the quarter.

Grab - Taxi & Food Delivery had the lowest download figures among the top five, starting at 198 and peaking at 281 weekly. Active users showed a stable trend, ending the quarter with approximately 4.5K users.
