Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on Android in Egypt: Q4 2025

The fourth quarter of 2025 saw interesting trends in the performance of carpooling and ridesharing apps on the Android platform in Egypt.

inDrive. Rides with fair fares experienced a gradual decrease in weekly downloads, starting from around 95K in early October and reaching a low of 74K by mid-November. However, a recovery was evident, with downloads rising to approximately 90K by the end of December. Active users fluctuated, beginning at 4.9M and ending the quarter slightly lower at 4.6M.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides maintained a stable download rate, hovering around 50K weekly. Active users showed a decline over the quarter, from 3.4M to just under 3.2M by the end of December.

Uber - Request a ride saw weekly downloads remain relatively stable, starting at 56K and closing the quarter at nearly 50K. Active users peaked in early December at over 4.2M before slightly declining to 3.9M.

DiDi Driver: Drive & Earn Cash had a stable download pattern, with numbers fluctuating between 16K and 23K. Active users saw a slight increase from 438K to a peak of 507K in mid-November, before settling at 453K towards the end of the quarter.

Finally, Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver had a consistent download trend, with numbers starting at 11K and slightly decreasing to 9K by December. Active users demonstrated a peak in early November at 255K, closing the quarter at 217K.
