In the fourth quarter of 2025, the carpooling and ridesharing sector in Germany showcased notable trends on the Android platform, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride saw a steady growth in weekly downloads, beginning at approximately 46.7K at the start of the quarter and peaking at around 52.6K by the end of December. The app's weekly active users fluctuated slightly, starting at 813.7K and ending the quarter at 823K.

Bolt: Request a Ride downloads started at 18.4K in late September, with a slight dip mid-quarter, but closed at 16.1K. Active user numbers showed a similar pattern, beginning at 451.5K and finishing at 356.7K.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver experienced an increase in downloads from 5.7K to 7K, with a significant spike to 10.7K during the third week of December. Active users remained relatively stable, closing the quarter at 60.9K.

Grab - Taxi & Food Delivery began with 3.4K downloads, reaching a high of 5.1K toward the end of the year. Weekly active users showed a peak in early November at 17.7K, then settled at 13K by year-end.

Finally, Freenow by Lyft - taxi & more downloads were around 4.8K at the start, with a gradual increase to 5K by December. Active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, beginning at 70.2K and concluding at 68.6K.
