In the fourth quarter of 2025, the carpooling and ridesharing sector in Colombia saw significant activity on the Android platform. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top five apps, with data provided by Sensor Tower.

Yango: taxi, food, delivery had fluctuating weekly downloads, peaking at around 117K at the start of the quarter and settling at approximately 48K by the end. Active users were generally stable, with a high of about 2.9M in late October, though a decline was noted towards the end of December, reaching around 2M.

inDrive. Rides with fair fares maintained a strong presence, with downloads ranging from 67K to 93K. Active users surpassed 5M mid-December, marking a significant user base, though a decrease to about 4.1M was observed by year-end.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides saw consistent weekly downloads, maintaining figures between 52K and 84K. The app’s active users peaked at over 5.5M in early December, showcasing its popularity, despite a reduction to approximately 4M by the end of the quarter.

DiDi Driver: Drive & Earn Cash experienced a varied download trend, starting at 38K and decreasing to about 27K in the final week. Active user numbers were stable, hovering around 800K throughout most of the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride witnessed growth in downloads, especially notable in the first and last weeks of December, reaching over 49K. Active users increased steadily, peaking at approximately 2.6M mid-December, but ending the quarter with around 1.9M users.
