Top Apocalypse Games on Android in the US: Q4 2025

In the final quarter of 2025, the apocalypse-themed gaming genre on Android in the United States showcased intriguing trends across the top five applications. Here's a closer look at their performance, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Whiteout Survival from Century Games PTE. LTD. saw significant fluctuations in weekly revenue, starting at around $2M at the end of September, dipping mid-quarter, and peaking at approximately $2.3M in late November. Downloads began at around 49K, rising notably to over 91K in mid-December. The active user base grew from 301K to a remarkable 447K by the end of the quarter.

Resident Evil Survival Unit, launched by Aniplex Inc., initially earned $135K in its first week, with revenue peaking at $249K in the following week. Downloads started strong at 114K but declined to 14K by the end of December. Active users mirrored this trend, decreasing from 73K to 34K.

For Frost World by Estoty, weekly revenue showed a gradual increase from around $2K to $5K by late December. Downloads increased steadily from 12K to 19K mid-quarter, with active users rising from 18K to 22K, peaking in mid-December.

Dark War Survival by Florere Game experienced a decline in both weekly downloads and active users, starting at 19K downloads and 65K users, both metrics saw a fall mid-quarter but ended with a slight recovery in December. Revenue, however, remained relatively stable, peaking at $732K in October.

Lastly, Wasteland Life: Survival Idle from SayGames Ltd showed a consistent increase in revenue, climbing from $26K to $52K by the end of the quarter. Downloads hovered between 11K and 15K, while active users steadily increased from 72K to 80K.
