In the third quarter of 2024, the top five entertainment apps in the United Arab Emirates displayed varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users, as per Sensor Tower data.

TikTok exhibited a fluctuating revenue pattern, starting the quarter with approximately $1.08M, dipping mid-quarter, and peaking at around $1.14M in early September. Weekly downloads showed a general decline, beginning at 89K and ending the quarter at around 71K. However, active user numbers remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 6.7M and 7.1M throughout the quarter.

Netflix saw modest revenue figures, with a notable peak of about $33.9K at the quarter's end. Downloads decreased from 16K at the start to approximately 14K by the end. Active users experienced a slight decline, moving from 283K to 252K over the quarter.

Disney+ recorded weekly revenue fluctuations, peaking at roughly $152.9K towards the end of September. Downloads decreased from 13.8K to around 11.5K, while active users remained relatively stable, hovering around the 240K mark with minor fluctuations.

STARZ ON showed a rise in revenue, culminating in a peak of $54.7K in the last week of September. Downloads were inconsistent but ended on an upward trend at 12K. Active users varied throughout the quarter, ending with approximately 67K.

Lastly, YouTube Kids maintained a consistent download rate, ranging from 10K to 8.3K. The active user base remained stable, fluctuating slightly around the 315K mark.
