Top 5 Books Apps Performance in Spain, Q3 2024

During the third quarter of 2024, the top book apps in Spain showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and user engagement, according to Sensor Tower data.

Amazon Kindle maintained a strong presence with weekly revenue peaking at approximately $57K in mid-August. Downloads were highest in mid-July at around 16.9K, while weekly active users fluctuated slightly from 256K to 276K throughout the quarter.

Audible: Audio Entertainment experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, culminating at about $44K by the end of September. The app saw a notable rise in downloads, reaching 15.7K in the final week of September. Active users remained fairly stable, ranging between 144K and 156K over the quarter.

Wattpad - Read & Write Stories showed a rise in weekly revenue, peaking at $4.2K by the end of the quarter. Download numbers saw a decline towards the end, dropping to 4.6K. Active user engagement also decreased, from 345K at the start to 276K by September.

Goodreads: Book Reviews did not generate revenue during this period, but downloads peaked at 6.3K in late August. Active users saw an increase from 37K to over 44K in mid-August, with a slight dip towards the end of the quarter.

Reader by ElevenLabs saw its highest weekly downloads at 12.3K in mid-August. Active users initially surged to 11.8K in the same period, but later tapered off to 3K by the end of September.
