In the third quarter of 2024, the top entertainment applications on iOS in Algeria showcased varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the performance of the top five apps in this category.

TikTok saw a mixed performance with its weekly revenue peaking at roughly $2.1K in early September. Downloads fluctuated throughout the quarter, with a high of about 20.1K in mid-September. Despite these changes, weekly active users slightly declined from 406K at the beginning of July to approximately 380K by the end of September.

Music X Pro demonstrated consistent growth in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads increased steadily, reaching close to 3.8K by the end of the quarter. Active users followed a similar upward trend, rising from around 41.6K in early July to nearly 49.3K at the end of September.

Netflix experienced moderate fluctuations in revenue, with a notable peak of $219 in mid-August. Downloads remained relatively stable, hovering around 3K throughout the quarter. However, active users saw a gradual decline, decreasing from 24.1K to just under 19K by the end of September.

MerlMovie had a decline in downloads, dropping from 3.7K in early July to about 1.6K by the end of September. On the other hand, active users showed some resilience, maintaining a steady presence of around 13.9K at the quarter's close.

WePlay (ويبلاي) - Game & Chat experienced fluctuations in revenue, peaking at $194 in early August. Downloads saw a resurgence towards the end of the quarter, reaching 3.3K. Active users increased significantly, starting at 8.3K in early July and rising to over 10.9K by the end of September.
