In the third quarter of 2024, the top five entertainment apps on the Android platform in Kuwait showcased varied trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. This analysis is based on data from Sensor Tower, providing a snapshot of each app's performance during this period.

YouTube Kids from Google LLC maintained consistent weekly downloads, ranging from approximately 1.8K to 2.5K. The app's weekly active users showed a slight decline over the quarter, dropping from about 94.5K at the start of July to around 89.7K by the end of September.

STARZ ON from Playco Entertainment experienced fluctuations in both downloads and revenue. Weekly downloads peaked at 3.2K in mid-August, while revenue saw a notable increase, reaching a high of approximately $4.8K in the same period. Active users also saw an upward trend, culminating at about 14.4K in late August before settling at 12.7K by the end of September.

51 Kuwait, developed by the Ministry of Information, saw an initial surge in downloads, peaking at 3.5K at the end of July. However, this number gradually declined to 869 by the end of September.

Disney+ from Disney-Hotstar Electronic Content, LLC, displayed stable revenue figures, with weekly earnings consistently around $5.5K to $6.5K. Downloads were steady throughout the quarter, averaging around 1.6K, while active users remained robust, hovering around 35K to 37K.

OSN+ by Anghami Technologies showed a steady revenue stream, peaking at $4.7K towards the end of September. Downloads gradually declined over the quarter, starting at 1.8K and dropping to 956 by the end of September. Active users saw a slight decrease, from 10.1K at the beginning of July to 8.4K at the end of the quarter.
