Top 5 Entertainment Apps on Android in Austria: Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the Android entertainment app market in Austria saw noteworthy trends among the top five applications, according to Sensor Tower data.

JOYN Österreichs SuperStreamer experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, starting with 6.8K in early July, dipping to 2.9K in early August, and peaking again at 4.3K by the end of September. The weekly active users showed a gradual decline from 25.3K at the beginning of the quarter to around 20.5K by the end.

Amazon Prime Video maintained a strong presence with weekly revenue ranging from $78K to a high of $119K. Despite a decrease in weekly downloads from 3.4K to 2.1K, active users saw an increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching over 204K in the final week.

Disney+ showed a steady revenue increase, with figures climbing to approximately $94K by the end of September. Downloads remained consistent, hovering around 2.6K to 3.1K, while active users fluctuated slightly, peaking at 122K mid-quarter.

Netflix displayed consistent weekly downloads, averaging around 2.2K. The number of weekly active users remained robust, starting at 273K and maintaining around 268K through the quarter.

ReelShort - Short Movie & TV saw an initial increase in weekly revenue, reaching $19K in early September before declining to about $14K. Downloads peaked at over 3.3K early in the quarter but tapered off to 870 by the end. Active users mirrored this trend, peaking at 6K and ending with roughly 3.3K.
