During the third quarter of 2024, the top entertainment apps on the Android platform in Italy demonstrated varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps showed notable movement in the market.

Disney+ experienced a consistent increase in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $185K at the beginning of July and peaking at around $208K in mid-September. Weekly downloads saw a significant spike, reaching over 47K in the week of September 16, while weekly active users grew from 944K to around 1.16M by the end of the quarter.

Amazon Prime Video showed fluctuations in weekly revenue, starting at $106K and rising to $148K by early September. Downloads peaked at 35K in mid-September, and the number of active users saw a notable increase from 1.08M to approximately 1.15M in the same period.

Twitch: Live Streaming maintained steady weekly revenue, with a gradual increase from $39K in early July to about $56K by the end of September. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight decrease to around 9.6K by the end of the quarter. Active users fluctuated slightly, starting at 957K and ending at 856K.

Prime Video experienced a rise in weekly revenue from $27K in early July to a peak of $59K in early September. However, active users remained low, with numbers hovering around 30 to 37 throughout the quarter.

Finally, Crunchyroll showed an increase in revenue, starting at $33K and peaking at $47K by mid-September. Downloads began at 10K in July and saw a decline to approximately 6.2K by the end of September. Active user numbers remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 85K to 94K.
