During the second quarter of 2024, the top five entertainment apps on the Android platform in Kuwait showcased varying performance trends in downloads, active users, and revenue. Here’s a closer look at each app's performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.

YouTube Kids maintained a steady presence throughout Q2. Weekly downloads fluctuated slightly, starting at around 2.2K in early April, dipping to approximately 1.9K mid-April, and recovering to around 2.2K by the end of June. Active users showed minor variations, peaking at about 96K in early April and stabilizing around 94K towards the end of the quarter.

Video Downloader and Player experienced a diverse trend in weekly downloads, with a high of approximately 2.9K in early April and a significant drop to around 280 by the end of June. The app's active users, however, increased steadily from roughly 28.5K at the start of the quarter to around 31.7K by the end of June.

Private Gallery - Photo Vault saw a significant peak in downloads in early May, reaching around 2.9K, before experiencing a sharp decline to just 35 by the end of June. Active users followed a similar trend, peaking at approximately 4.7K in mid-May and declining to around 3K by the end of the quarter.

Disney+ showed a consistent increase in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $4.9K in early April and peaking at around $7.5K in mid-June. Weekly downloads also saw an upward trend, beginning at around 1.5K and reaching approximately 2.2K by the end of June. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase from about 35.6K to 36.2K over the quarter.

CricInstant Cricket Scores had fluctuating download numbers, starting at around 2.1K and experiencing a low of approximately 859 in late May before recovering to around 1.7K by the end of June. Active users showed a similar pattern, starting at about 2K, dipping to around 1.5K mid-quarter, and ending at approximately 2K.
