Top 5 MMORPG Applications in South America, Q1 2024

The first quarter of 2024 saw significant activity in the MMORPG sector in South America, with data from Sensor Tower highlighting the top five applications across a unified platform.

Ragnarok Origin: ROO by Gravity Game Vision Limited, released at the end of February, demonstrated a strong debut. Weekly revenue peaked at approximately $195K in early March. However, weekly downloads saw a sharp decline, starting at 1.2M in the last week of February and dropping to around 20K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar downward trend, decreasing from over 1M to around 160K.

MU: Dragon Havoc maintained a consistent presence. Weekly revenue started the year at roughly $99K and experienced a gradual decline to about $41K by the end of March. Downloads also decreased from 21.7K to approximately 2.8K, while active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 24K to 25K throughout the quarter.

Diablo Immortal by Blizzard Entertainment saw fluctuating revenue, peaking at $63K in early February and ending the quarter at $55K. Downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of 13.6K in the final week of March. Active users varied slightly, starting at 119K and ending at 122K.

The Legend of Neverland by Ark Games experienced a steady decline in weekly revenue, starting at $43.6K and ending at $18.3K. Weekly downloads decreased from 49.3K to around 24.8K. Active users saw a similar trend, dropping from 116K to about 88K by the end of March.

NIGHT CROWS, released in mid-March by Wemade Co., Ltd., showed promising initial performance. Weekly revenue peaked at $107K, while downloads started strong at 32.5K but quickly fell to around 4.2K. Active users began at 15K and decreased to about 12.3K by the end of March.
