In the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 books applications on a unified platform in Spain showed varying performance trends. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Audible: Audio Entertainment experienced a notable increase in both weekly revenue and active users. Weekly revenue climbed steadily, peaking at approximately $23.8K in late March. Weekly downloads were relatively stable but saw an impressive spike to nearly 22.9K in the last week of March. Active users, however, showed a slight decline from 160.4K to 147.3K over the quarter.

Storytel - Audiobooks Library saw a mixed performance. Revenue fluctuated but ended the quarter on a high note with about $11.6K. Downloads remained low but increased to 1.1K in the last week. Active users exhibited a slight decrease from 100.9K to 99.9K.

Manobook: My Good Story Reader showed a downward trend in revenue and active users. Revenue dropped to $7.1K in early March but recovered slightly to $11.1K by the end of the quarter. Downloads also saw a significant dip, reaching a low of 482 in early March before rising to 1.9K. Active users decreased from 3.3K to 3K over the quarter.

Everand: Ebooks and audiobooks experienced a slight decline in both revenue and active users. Revenue fluctuated around $2.7K to $3.5K, ending at $2.5K. Downloads remained low, peaking at 562 in late January. Active users decreased from 12.5K to 10K.
