Latin America's iOS Book Apps Performance Q1 2024

Sensor Tower's latest data reveals the performance of the top five book applications on the iOS platform in Latin America for the first quarter of 2024. Here's a brief look into how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Wattpad - Read & Write Stories maintained a steady revenue stream, ending the quarter on a high note at around $12K. Downloads saw a slight downward trend, starting at 42K and closing at 29K. Weekly active users also dipped from 1.4M to 1.3M.

Amazon Kindle experienced negligible revenue with several weeks at $0, thus the focus is on downloads and active users. Downloads decreased from 48K to 26K, while weekly active users showed a slight decrease from 386K to 344K.

The Bible Offline-KJV Holy Bible app showed a mixed revenue trend, peaking at $495 in early March. Downloads peaked at 18K in late January but ended the quarter at 9K. Active users grew from 94K to 117K.

Bíblia Sagrada Mobidic had its revenue fluctuating, ending the quarter stronger at around $315. Downloads started at 13K and saw a dip, ending at 11K. The weekly active users saw a steady increase, ending at 46K.

Audible: Audio Entertainment showed robust revenue figures, starting at around $62K and ending the quarter with approximately $61K. Downloads began at 10K and decreased to 7.6K, while active users remained fairly stable around 31K throughout the quarter.
