Q4 2023 Performance of Top iOS MMORPGs in the UK

In the final quarter of 2023, the MMORPG landscape on iOS in the United Kingdom saw varied performances among the top contenders. Sensor Tower's data showcases the trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for these leading titles.

Old School RuneScape, a veteran in the MMORPG genre, maintained a consistent revenue stream throughout the quarter, with a peak at the end of December reaching approximately $14K. Downloads saw an uptick in November, peaking at 1.7K, while weekly active users hit their highest at 8.2K in the same month.

Diablo Immortal by Blizzard Entertainment saw a significant rise in revenue towards the quarter's end, soaring to around $37K in mid-December. The game's downloads reached 1.3K in the last week of December, and weekly active users experienced a slight increase, ending at about 26K.

Sandbox Interactive GmbH's Albion Online had a modest revenue performance, with the highest weekly revenue nearing $1K. Downloads peaked in late October at approximately 1.2K, and weekly active users saw their highest numbers at the start of the quarter with 2.3K.

RuneScape, also from Jagex, experienced its revenue peak in mid-October at over $18K. The game's download numbers were highest in the same period, at 852, and weekly active users saw a rise towards the quarter's end, closing at around 3.8K.

Lastly, the newcomer MU: Dragon Havoc from HongKong Miracle Network Limited, released in October, showed a decline in revenue after its initial weeks, ending the quarter with a revenue of around $10K. Downloads decreased over time, with an initial 4.9K in its launch week, but slightly increased to 349 in the final week of December.
