Q4 2023 Performance of Top Book Apps on iOS in Latin America

In the fourth quarter of 2023, the books category on the iOS platform saw varied performances among the top apps in Latin America. This data, provided by Sensor Tower, offers insights into the downloads, revenue, and active users for these leading applications.

Wattpad - Read & Write Stories experienced a steady increase in downloads, culminating in 44.7K in the final week of December, up from 26.8K at the start of the quarter. Weekly active users showed a dip in October but rebounded to approximately 1.4M by the end of December. Revenue for Wattpad peaked mid-November at $14.4K before settling at $7.7K in the last week of December.

For Amazon Kindle, downloads saw a significant rise from 23.5K to 39.3K, with weekly active users also peaking at 391K in the last week of December. Notably, Amazon Kindle's revenue remained negligible throughout the quarter.

Lera: Best eBooks & Webnovels showed a fluctuating revenue trend, starting at $32.1K and ending the quarter at $34.3K. Downloads for Lera had an initial drop but recovered to 16.1K by December 25th. Active users peaked at 43.6K in the same period.

The Santa Biblia Reina app maintained a modest revenue throughout the quarter, with the highest at $266 in mid-November and concluding the quarter at $132. Downloads and active users both experienced a decline, finishing at 5.9K and 23.7K, respectively.

Lastly, Audible: Audio Entertainment saw a consistent revenue performance, starting at $60.7K and ending slightly lower at $56.4K. The app's downloads peaked at 12.2K in early October, ending at 7.8K, while active users showed a slight decrease to 28.5K by the quarter's end.
