Q4 2023 Performance of Top Book Apps on iOS in Latin America

In the fourth quarter of 2023, Latin America witnessed notable trends in the Books category on the iOS platform. Sensor Tower's data provides a glimpse into how five leading applications performed during this period.

Audible: Audio Entertainment experienced a consistent revenue trend, maintaining around $55K to $60K weekly, with a slight dip to $51K. Downloads peaked in early October at roughly 12K, then stabilized around 6K to 8K. Weekly active users hovered around 29K, with a peak of approximately 30K at the end of October.

Manobook: My Good Story Reader saw a revenue high of $57K in early November, followed by a decrease to around $31K towards the year's end. Downloads reached a high of 10K in early November but later dropped to around 3K. Active user count peaked at 20K in November, then fell to around 14K by the quarter's close.

For Lera: Best eBooks & Webnovels, revenue remained around $34K to $38K, except for a dip to around $30K in late November. The app saw a significant spike in downloads to over 16K in late December and an increase in active users, reaching over 43K by the end of December.

Storytel: Audiobooks & Ebooks maintained a steady revenue between $23K and $27K. Downloads showed some fluctuation but ended the quarter with around 2K. Weekly active users started at approximately 27K and experienced a slight decline to around 21K by the quarter's end.

Lastly, Everand: Ebooks and audiobooks presented a downward revenue trend starting at $24K and ending at around $18K. Downloads began at nearly 4K but decreased to just over 1K. Active user engagement also decreased from 19K to around 14K in the same period.
