Q4 2023 Round-Up: Top Android MMORPGs in Europe

As the year 2023 wound down, the MMORPG landscape on Android devices in Europe presented some intriguing trends. Sensor Tower's data provides a snapshot of how five major titles fared in the last quarter.

The Legend of Neverland saw a steady flow of user engagement, with weekly active users peaking at around 100K in late November. Downloads fluctuated around the mid-20K mark, with a modest bump to nearly 29K in the final week of December. Revenue for the title showed an upward trend towards the end of the quarter, closing with approximately $59K in the last week.

Vietnam's Kung Fu Saga experienced its highest weekly active users count of nearly 120K in the last week of December. Downloads saw a significant increase to over 27K the same week, while revenue also saw a rise, reaching about $48K.

Sandbox Interactive GmbH's Albion Online maintained a consistent revenue stream, ending the quarter with around $14K. The game's downloads showed a healthy increase, ending on a high note with over 23K downloads. Weekly active users also saw a surge, finishing the quarter with over 41K users.

MU: Dragon Havoc, although a newer entrant, displayed a strong revenue performance, with a notable $74K in the final week of December. However, the game's downloads and active users saw a decrease, ending the year with around 3K downloads and approximately 24K weekly active users.

Finally, Diablo Immortal by Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. dominated in revenue, with a staggering $256K in the last week of December. Despite a dip in downloads to about 11K, it maintained a strong active user base, ending the quarter with over 91K weekly active users.
