The third quarter of 2023 saw significant movements in the performance of the top five entertainment applications on the Android platform in Peru. Data sourced from Sensor Tower provides insights into the trends for Futbol Fan, ViX: TV, Deportes y Noticias, América tvGO, Netflix, and Disney+.

Futbol Fan experienced a sharp decline in weekly downloads, starting at 277K in late August and dropping to just over 5K by the end of September. Despite this, weekly active users surged from approximately 626 in late August to 486K in early September before settling at around 201K by the end of the quarter.

ViX: TV, Deportes y Noticias maintained a consistent weekly revenue, peaking at around $5K in late July. Weekly downloads saw a notable increase, reaching 63K in mid-September. The app's active users grew steadily, peaking at 562K in mid-September before stabilizing at 502K by the end of the quarter.

América tvGO displayed a varied performance in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.5K in mid-August. Downloads fluctuated significantly, with a remarkable spike to 207K in early September. Active users also saw a sharp increase, from 25K in early July to a peak of 158K in mid-September, before settling at 38K by the end of the quarter.

Netflix showed a steady trend in weekly downloads, ranging between 31K and 51K throughout the quarter. The number of active users remained relatively stable, peaking at over 2M in late July and maintaining around 1.9M towards the end of September.

Disney+ experienced notable fluctuations in weekly revenue, with peaks reaching $42K in mid-September. Downloads peaked at 71K in early September. Active users saw a slight decline from 531K in early July to around 495K by the end of September.
