Top 5 Entertainment Apps on iOS in Ukraine for Q2 2023

During the second quarter of 2023, the top five entertainment apps on iOS in Ukraine—TikTok, Netflix, Steam Mobile, MEGOGO: TV, Movies, Audiobooks, and Eurovision Song Contest—showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.

TikTok from TikTok Ltd. demonstrated a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $105K in the last week of June. Weekly downloads fluctuated, with the highest at about 49K in mid-April and the lowest around 34K in late May. Active users remained strong, increasing from 1.9M to just over 2M by the end of the quarter.

Netflix by Netflix, Inc. experienced relatively stable weekly revenue, ranging between $528 and $615 throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads showed a slight increase towards the end of June, reaching nearly 6.1K. Active users maintained a steady range, peaking at approximately 22.5K in the final week of June.

Steam Mobile from Valve saw consistent weekly downloads, hovering around 3.4K to 4.1K. Active users showed a positive trend, increasing from about 100K at the beginning of the quarter to approximately 112K by the end of June.

MEGOGO: TV, Movies, Audiobooks by MEGOGO LLC had a variable revenue stream, peaking at around $56K in early April and dropping to approximately $41K by mid-June. Downloads were modest, with a peak of about 5.3K in early June. Active users saw a decrease from around 35K at the start of the quarter to about 29K by the end.

Eurovision Song Contest from Union Europeenne de Radio-Television had a significant spike in downloads, reaching nearly 25K during the Eurovision week in early May, followed by a sharp decline. Active user numbers also surged to around 19K during the same period before dropping to approximately 891 by the end of June.
