Throughout the first quarter of 2023, Sweden's top 5 entertainment apps showcased distinctive performance trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, reveals a dynamic landscape for these leading applications.

HBO Max: Stream TV & Movies saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $123K in the last week of March. Weekly downloads, however, experienced a steady decline from 26.5K at the end of December to 11.9K by the end of March. Active users also reflected a downward trend, dropping from 201K to 168K over the same period.

Pluto TV: Watch & Stream Live experienced a significant surge in weekly downloads towards the end of Q1, with numbers spiking to 48.8K in the week of March 20. Active users also increased towards the end of the quarter, rising from 87.7K in early March to 118K by the end of the month.

Melodifestivalen saw a dramatic rise in weekly downloads at the start of February, peaking at 28.1K. Active users followed a similar upward trajectory, reaching a peak of 132K in mid-March before tapering off to 98.2K by the end of the month.
