In the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 entertainment apps in Kenya demonstrated varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared according to data from Sensor Tower.

Netflix saw a fluctuating trend in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.6K in the week of February 27. Weekly downloads experienced a decline from over 105K at the start of the quarter to around 44K by the end. Despite this, weekly active users remained relatively stable, maintaining an average of around 520K throughout the quarter.

Live Football TV HD Streaming had no reported revenue but showed significant activity in downloads and active users. Weekly downloads surged to nearly 75K in mid-February, while weekly active users peaked at around 78K in the same period. The app maintained a strong user base with minor fluctuations.

LIVE FOOTBALL SCORE APP did not generate revenue but saw a notable spike in weekly downloads, reaching nearly 100K in the week of February 20. However, downloads dropped significantly in the following weeks, falling to just over 2.5K by the end of March. Data on active users was not available.

Weekly downloads experienced a decline from over 15K at the beginning of January to around 5.6K by the end of March. Weekly active users peaked at over 32K in mid-January but gradually decreased to around 16K by the end of the quarter.
