During the fourth quarter of 2022, the top entertainment apps in Ireland saw varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

Disney+ experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $108K in the last week of December. Downloads saw a notable increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching around 18.7K in the final week. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight rise from 231K to 241K over the quarter.

Eventbrite showed a downward trend in downloads, starting at 6.4K and ending at 3.2K by late December. Active users also declined from 26.9K to 21.6K during the same period.

Paramount+ saw a significant boost in both revenue and downloads in December, with weekly revenue peaking at $15.3K and downloads hitting 31K in the last week of the month. Active users followed a similar trend, rising from 8.9K to 38.2K by the end of December.

Netflix maintained a steady revenue stream, averaging around $23K weekly, with slight fluctuations. Downloads increased significantly in December, reaching 11.8K in the final week. Active users remained robust, peaking at 598K at the end of October and stabilizing around 566K by the end of the quarter.

TikTok continued to lead in active users, with numbers slightly decreasing from 1.39M to 1.33M over the quarter. Weekly revenue saw a steady increase, peaking at $64.5K in mid-December. Downloads spiked towards the end of the year, reaching 27.4K in the last week of December.
